We have recently recieved planning permission for a new dwelling at Camuslongart, Dornie, near Kyle of Lochalsh.
The site offers spectacular views in all directions but particularly from Camuslongart accross to Dornie and down the Loch towards Eilean Donan Castle.
The house is designed that all the main rooms - living room, dining and bedrooms - take advantage of the views.
The house is approached from the South so the plan was organised with the front entrance, car pot and utility all on the North East side of the house.
Give the topography of the site we have taken advantage of the change in level so that the car port and ancillary accomodation dig into the site and reduce the overall impact and visual size of the building.
